Soul Therapy Studios
Terms & Conditions
The agreement between you and Soul Therapy covering your account, membership, billing, bookings, membership access and your practice history, studio conduct, and communications.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between you and SOULBODYJESS LLC, doing business as Soul Therapy Studios (“Soul Therapy,” “we,” “us”), covering your account, membership, bookings, and participation in the services and experiences we offer online and at our studio at 430 Communipaw Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07304.
By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or reserving a place in any class, workshop, meditation, or other Soul Therapy offering, you agree to these Terms & Conditions as they exist on that date.
Where a separate affirmative acceptance is required during a purchase or booking, you must complete that acceptance before continuing.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping access to it secure.
One account belongs to one person and should not be shared.
Your account may contain information about your membership, bookings, billing history, practice activity, reflections, and other experiences with Soul Therapy.
3. Memberships and billing
Practice Membership is a recurring monthly digital membership.
Studio Membership is a recurring monthly membership that includes the Practice Membership experience plus eligible in-person studio participation and other Studio Member benefits described at the time of purchase.
Current membership prices and included benefits are shown before purchase.
Memberships renew automatically each month until cancelled or otherwise changed according to the membership options available through your account.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Soul Therapy does not store your full card number or card security code.
Where a payment method is saved to your account, it may be used for future charges you have authorized in connection with your Soul Therapy membership or applicable bookings.
Cancellation
You may cancel your membership through your account.
When a membership is cancelled, cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for unless otherwise clearly stated before you confirm the cancellation.
Your current paid membership access continues through that date.
We do not provide a partial refund solely because you choose not to use the remaining portion of an already-paid membership period, unless Soul Therapy agrees otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.
Upgrades
If you upgrade from Practice Membership to Studio Membership during a billing period, Stripe may apply a prorated credit for the unused portion of your Practice Membership and a prorated charge for Studio Membership for the remainder of the current billing period.
The amount due will be shown to you before you confirm the upgrade.
Once the upgrade is successfully completed, Studio Membership access begins according to the confirmed membership state.
Downgrades
If you change from Studio Membership to Practice Membership, the downgrade takes effect at your next renewal.
Your existing Studio Membership access continues through the billing period you have already paid for.
The effective date and next membership price will be shown before you confirm the change.
Pauses
Where the membership pause option is available, you may schedule one billing cycle off.
Scheduling a pause does not remove access you have already paid for.
Your current paid membership access continues through the end of your existing billing period.
The following billing cycle is skipped, your active membership access pauses for that cycle, and your membership automatically resumes afterward.
The pause dates, skipped payment, resume date, and next expected membership payment will be shown before you confirm the pause.
4. Membership access and your practice history
An active membership unlocks the current content, benefits, and participation rights associated with that membership.
Changing, pausing, cancelling, or ending a membership may change access to current membership programming.
Your personal practice history remains associated with your account.
This may include, as applicable, your completed reflections and journal entries, intentions, practices you have logged, meditations or experiences you have completed, classes you attended, retreats you attended, and the seasons or themes associated with your practice.
Membership unlocks the present. Your practice history preserves the past.
Soul Therapy content, curriculum, recordings, written materials, and other intellectual property are provided for your personal use.
Your membership does not give you permission to reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, or commercially use Soul Therapy content unless Soul Therapy gives you written permission.
5. Bookings, cancellations and no-shows
Places in studio classes and other in-person experiences may be limited.
When you reserve a place, that space is held for you and may no longer be available to another participant.
Applicable cancellation windows and booking policies will be disclosed in the booking experience.
Late cancellations and no-shows may affect a complimentary class, booking entitlement, credit, or other reservation benefit.
If a monetary late-cancellation or no-show fee applies to a particular booking, the amount and conditions will be disclosed before you confirm that booking.
Soul Therapy cancellation of a class
If Soul Therapy cancels a class, your reservation will be released without penalty.
If the cancelled reservation used your complimentary First Class, that complimentary class remains available to you.
If you separately paid for a cancelled class, Soul Therapy will provide the applicable resolution for that purchase in accordance with the studio’s then-current cancellation policy.
6. Complimentary first class
Soul Therapy may offer an eligible participant one complimentary first studio class.
Eligibility is determined according to the participation history associated with your Soul Therapy account.
Reserving a complimentary First Class does not create a paid membership.
A payment method may be required to reserve the complimentary class so that applicable booking policies can be enforced.
The reservation itself is $0.
Cancelling within the permitted cancellation window preserves the complimentary First Class for future use.
A late cancellation or no-show may cause the complimentary First Class to be considered used.
If a monetary fee applies, that fee and its conditions will be disclosed before the reservation is confirmed.
7. Studio conduct and safety
Participation in movement and wellness activities involves personal responsibility.
You are responsible for determining whether you can participate safely and for choosing an appropriate level of participation.
You may stop, rest, or modify your participation at any time.
You are responsible for communicating relevant limitations to your instructor when appropriate.
Soul Therapy may decline or end a person’s participation when their conduct threatens the safety, wellbeing, or reasonable experience of other participants, instructors, or staff.
Participation in applicable Soul Therapy activities also requires acceptance of the separate Soul Therapy Studios Release and Waiver of Liability.
The Release and Waiver of Liability is a separate legal document with its own affirmative acceptance.
8. Communications
Soul Therapy sends transactional communications necessary to operate your account and provide services you request.
These may include membership confirmations, membership-change notices, billing notices, payment-failure notices, booking confirmations, booking cancellations, First Class communications, meditation or workshop registration confirmations, and other service-related account communications.
Transactional communications are part of providing the services associated with your account and purchases.
Marketing email and text-message consent is separate and optional.
Marketing consent is not a condition of purchasing a membership or booking an experience unless explicitly permitted by applicable law.
You may withdraw marketing consent without cancelling your Soul Therapy membership or account.
9. Changes to these terms
Soul Therapy may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Each version may have its own effective date and internal version identifier.
Where Soul Therapy determines that a material update requires renewed acceptance, you may be asked to review and accept the updated Terms before a future applicable purchase, booking, or account action.
Historical acceptance records will remain associated with the version accepted at that time.
