Soul Therapy Studios

Privacy Policy

Effective September 1, 2026

How Soul Therapy collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information across the website, member portal, and studio.

About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SOULBODYJESS LLC, doing business as Soul Therapy Studios (“Soul Therapy,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use the Soul Therapy website, member portal, studio, and related services.

1. What we collect

We may collect account information you provide to us, including your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, birthday, city or postal area, and pronouns if you choose to share them.

We maintain practice and participation records created through your use of Soul Therapy. These may include bookings, attendance, memberships, workshop or meditation registrations, practices you log, and reflections or journal entries you create.

We maintain payment-related records such as purchases, amounts, membership plans, and payment status.

Payment card information is processed by Stripe. Soul Therapy does not store your full payment card number or card security code.

We also maintain consent records, including the policies and versions you accepted, when you accepted them, and the context in which acceptance occurred.

2. Why we use your information

We use personal information to create and operate your account; provide and manage your membership; manage bookings and attendance; process authorized payments; provide your personal practice history; send transactional communications related to your account, membership, purchases, and bookings; operate and protect the studio and our services; respond to questions and support requests; maintain appropriate business, financial, consent, and operational records; and comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Your private writing

Journal entries and personal reflections are private to your account by default.

Soul Therapy does not use your private journal entries or private reflections for marketing.

A reflection becomes visible to other members only when you explicitly choose to submit it for community sharing and it has been approved through the applicable studio review process.

Your private journal does not become publicly or community-visible merely because it exists in your account.

4. Who we share information with

We use service providers to help operate Soul Therapy. These may include providers that support website hosting and database infrastructure, payment processing, email delivery, text messaging, authentication and account services, and other technical services necessary to operate the website and member portal.

These providers receive information as necessary to perform services on our behalf.

Stripe processes payment information in connection with purchases and memberships.

Soul Therapy instructors and authorized studio staff may have access to operational information they need to provide services, such as class rosters, bookings, attendance, and relevant account information.

Private journal entries and private reflections are not treated as ordinary instructor or front-desk operational information.

We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect the safety, rights, or security of Soul Therapy, our participants, or others.

5. Marketing choices

Marketing email and text-message communications are optional.

Marketing consent is separate from the transactional communications necessary to operate your account and provide services you request.

You may withdraw marketing consent at any time through available account settings or applicable unsubscribe or opt-out methods.

For text messages, you may also use the opt-out instructions provided in the message, such as replying STOP where supported.

Turning off marketing communications does not prevent Soul Therapy from sending transactional communications related to your account, membership, purchases, or bookings.

6. How long we keep information

We retain account and practice information as reasonably necessary to operate your account and preserve the personal practice history made available through Soul Therapy.

Certain information may be retained for longer periods where reasonably necessary for legal, tax, accounting, insurance, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate business recordkeeping purposes.

Consent and policy-acceptance records may be retained as historical records of the agreement or acknowledgment made at that time.

7. Your choices

You may review or update certain account information through Settings where that functionality is available.

You may also contact Soul Therapy to request information about your personal information, request a correction, or request deletion of information that we are not required or otherwise permitted to retain. Requests may be sent to hello@soul-therapy-studios.com.

Some information may need to be retained for legal, financial, security, consent, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate recordkeeping purposes.

Historical consent records are records of an action that occurred and are not retroactively erased simply because an optional consent or service is later withdrawn.

8. Security and account access

Soul Therapy uses administrative, technical, and access controls intended to protect personal information.

Account access is designed so that members can access information associated with their own accounts, subject to the permissions required to operate the service.

We use encrypted network connections where supported and rely on specialized payment providers such as Stripe for payment-card processing.

No online system can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures intended to protect the information entrusted to us.

Soul Therapy's self-service accounts are currently intended for adults age 18 and older.

9. Changes to this policy

Soul Therapy may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Each policy version may have its own effective date and internal version identifier.

Where appropriate, we may ask you to acknowledge an updated Privacy Policy in connection with a future account action, purchase, or booking.

Historical acknowledgment records remain associated with the policy version acknowledged at that time.
